LOCKDOWN TRAINING
TERM 3 2020
We are happy to confirm that we will be starting up our Garvz & Garvlingz sessions for Term 3 2020, running from Monday 13 July to Friday 25 September. This will make it a normal 11 week term of sessions. As we are not able to return to school premises yet we have secured 5 venues available in the following areas: Ballito, Umhlanga, Durban North, Westville and Hillcrest. Please note that your child may only attend one session a week and that your child’s sessions have to be booked on the below form (even if they have already registered for Garvz/Garvlingz). We cannot accept any kids arriving on the day without booking as we have to make sure we have the correct ratio of kids to coaches and equipment. Our ratio will be a maximum of 6 kids per coach and each group of kids will be spread out around the venue. These sessions are open to any child whether they have been a Garvz kid or not as well as for kids up to Grade 7 so they may also participate in physical activity if they wish.
The sports that we will be coaching include hockey, soccer and fitness. If your child has their own hockey stick please may they bring it with them and please can their name be on it. If not we will provide one for them. Our hockey sticks & balls and soccer balls will be numbered so that we can keep control of whose equipment belongs to who during the session.

Costs for the term:
Garvz: R 815, Grade R-7
Garvlingz: R 580, Grade 000-00 and R 630, Grade R
Garvz monthly option: R 350, Grade R-7

- All children attending our sports program will be required to have an Indemnity Form filled out for them (at the bottom of this page)
- Children will be required to wear their mask at all times during the session
- Each child will have their temperature taken and recorded before each session
- All children and staff will have their hands sanitized before and after each session
- Social Distancing will be adhered to by all children and staff with the use of markers
- We will provide enough equipment for all children so there will be no need to share
- All staff will have their temperature checked and recorded each morning
- All equipment will be sanitized daily and after each session
- Please note that due to covid regulations there will be no bathroom facilities available
