Disadvantaged Schools Sponsor (CSI initiative)
Taking the lead from the Sharks Kidz, Sharks Rugby School, Sharks Academy and Garvz Sports Academy, Adrian Garvey and Bruce Dragt are driving the development of skills with focus on fun in the various Sporting codes at a young age.
We have been operating very successfully in KZN, Johannesburg (Lions Kidz, Orlando Pirates Kidz, and SA Cricket Kidz), Pretoria (Blue Bulls Kidz, Titans Kidz), East London, Port Elizabeth, Zimbabwe and Seychelles for the last 11 years. We have identified the need for professional instruction due to the shortage of qualified sports coaches at all levels and children are not getting the skills training they require. We would like to think by working with schools, using either their fields or central Community Centre’s during allocated times by them, there would be a win, win situation for both parties.
Garvz Sports Academy is aimed at boys & Girls between the ages of 2 and 13 and not only do we believe we develop the skills of the Kidz but also market Sport in a professional and safe environment. We at the Garvz Sports Academy would also like to contribute to developing our National talent as well as promote good sportsmanship with our policy of manners and sports etiquette.
I have identified schools with 100 boys and girls aged 10 that would love to be part of this program where we would coach (Cricket, Rugby, Hockey & Soccer) them for 1hour a week over a 10 month period as well as offer them a match day experience and all the Branded Collectables. We can handle more than 100 Boys and Girls if you would like to offer the same to other schools. All the qualified coaches, equipment, logistics as well as co-ordination of the program will be handled by ourselves and can assure the sponsor being represented will be well looked after.
I have listed below the kit that each child will receive through the program, all branded with the Sponsors Logo, and also the benefits for you at the match day experience.
Match Day Experience
The following would be included:
1. Possible coverage on TV through the advertising on the back of 100 kidz, as they line the tunnel before the teams run onto the field, a half time walk around the field and at the match end when all the kidz invade the field supplying drinks to both the Sharks and the visitors.
2. Big screen advertising as the sponsor for the Sharks Kidz Match Day Experience before and after the game and during half time.
3. In the match day program once again as the Sharks Kidz sponsor for their Match Day Experience.
This includes the transport, refreshments and tickets to the game for the kids
